Just wanted to make this post to give everyone an idea of how this works. Everyone should have a group at this point.

As more people reach level 50, there are many directions you can go, but more people will want to go after the highest item level gear possible. Right now, that gear is found within the Binding Coil of Bahamut. These fights are designed to be very tough, and not for the casual gamer. However, since there is story behind the content, SE has added the Echo buff to the earlier turns of Coil to help the more casual players through the content. There fights are still a challenge and you will need to meet a minimum item level requirement as well as an accuracy cap in the later turns. In order to prepare yourself for Coil and to help you clear any other content in the game within our FC, we will assign you to an 8-man group.

Each group will have 1 leader, a 2nd in command, and an alternate player. Please refer to the specific group threads to see what group you are in and how the leaders are. As new groups are formed, we will ask for a volunteer from an existing group to be an Alt for the new group, to help organize the group, work on strats, and to help complete the content with the new group. Alternates are a part of the group, and should be treated with the same amount of effort to help gear out and get clears for. If they are to replace someone, they need to be just as geared as they person they replaced.

Think of these groups not only as your Coil groups, but your "get shit done" groups. Even if you guys are not ready for Coil, gather on the set time and date determined by your Cpt., and do stuff together. The whole FC should be willing to help when they are not preoccupied with something else, but the group assignments should be your go-to place for help. Group members have a duty to their group to help other group members when they ask. This way when you ask for a favor, they can do the same for you. Plus, as they help you, they also help themselves by getting their group ready for the next content.

So get together and see who needs what and go do what will help the most people. If that means splitting into 2 4-man groups to run dungeons, or doing Primals as an 8-man team, then do it. This will get you used to your groups and each other's play styles and gear you out in the process as you work towards the next level content. This should limit the cases of people asking for help randomly in FC chat and getting no response. Everyone will have a set group and a set leader to voice concerns to and to ask help from, and then you all can schedule it for the next time you guys meet as a group. Meeting times, dates, and runs per week, depend solely on your group. Decide as a group and stick with it.
